Travellers looking to stretch their time and budget can consider taking advantage of MASholiday’s attractive range of Malaysia Stopover 2009 (MSO) packages which offers immediate confirmation of boarding with 500 daily room inventories from 128 Malaysia hotels and over 40 optional tours to choose from.

In efforts to enhance its business offerings to customers, MASholidays, the travel arm of Malaysia Airlines has been proactively engaging with various stakeholders in the travel industry. As a result, its offerings are amongst the most competitive in the market.

Malaysia Airlines is the only airline to offer eligible long haul passengers the opportunity to enjoy a “Free Side Trip” (FST) to any destination within Malaysia. Only one free side trip is entitled for the entire return journey. In addition, customers will receive a complimentary MSO Privilege Card, which entitles them for discounts up to 50% over 200 participating shopping outlets, restaurants, theme park, spa, health screening and many more.

In line with the airline’s customer value proposition, Malaysian Hospitality, a dedicated Meet & Greet Centre at the KLIA Arrival Hall has also been set up to assist customers upon arrival.

“By identifying and understanding the needs of our target audience, we are better able to develop products to cater for the markets. For instance, we are offering a 4D3N diving package off Sipadan Island from AUD967 which comprises of hotel stays, airport transfers, meals, 3 boat dives a day with a divemaster and unlimited jetty house reef dives.

“Our collaboration with Henry Butcher also enables us to offer property investment packages in conjunction with the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme. Under this, customers get to enjoy with daily breakfast, return airport transfers with an additional service of a private tour to potential properties and a familiarization tour of the destination,” he added.

As part of the overall enhancement of services, MASholidays will be upgrading their tour management processes to incorporate an online booking system fully integrated with real time inventory of flights and hotel rooms as well as its own E-Payment Gateway capabilities
