Friday, 16 July 2010 00:00

The Malaysia Property Exposition (MAPEX) by REHDA is being held for the second time this year from 16 to 18 July 2010 at the Midvalley Exhibition Centre, MidValley. Opening hours are 10am to 9pm daily.

This round of exposition is themed “Fulfilling Higher Expectations”, which aptly describes the current housing market where developers no longer provide just the bare necessities of a place for shelter. Rather, today, developers go the extra mile in providing properties that satisfy the lifestyle needs and contribute to the overall experience of today’s modern homeowner, within a reasonable budget. Visitors can look forward to reputable developers offering various add-ons and creating value through their own initiative to respond to the needs of the house buyers.

The exposition will be participated by 37 developers showcasing 40 over developments situated in the Klang Valley including Bandar Sunway, Bandar Tasik Puteri, Bangi, Batu Caves, Ceylon Hills, Damansara Perdana, Jalan Gurney, Jalan Kia Peng, Klang, Kajang, Kota Damansara, Kuala Selangor, Puchong, Rawang, Selayang, Seri Kembangan, Shah Alam, Subang, Tanjung Malim, Templer Park, and so on. Properties from Gambang, Pahang; Ipoh, Perak; and Sepang, Negeri Sembilan will also be showcased.

Visitors would be able to choose from 4,827 units of housing, of which 3,453 are high-rise homes, whilst the rest comprise link, semi-detached, township and bungalow units. The units will have a good mix of completed and off plan units, with 387 already completed, 912 open for registration, whilst the remainder is currently undergoing construction.

Related companies and organisations will also be showcasing their services namely HSBC, Kuwait, Hong Leong Bank, Malaysia My Second Home (Ministry of Tourism), National Housing Department and the Treasury Housing Loan Division
