The main purpose of Malaysia My Second Home Programme is to attract more Japanese and Korean to purchase properties in Malaysia. Mostly Japanese prefer stay in Penang. By the way, the current project, South Quay, is one of the projects held by Sunway City that cooperative with Korean developer, there are two blocks are selling to Korean as their second home in Malaysia. MM2H is actually wanted to attract more foreign investors, mainly is Korean and also investors from China. Malaysia’s properties are much cheaper if compared with Singapore because price of houses in Malaysia still low, and Malaysia has political stability and perfect investment planning.
